Edwin C. Jellett collection of autograph statements by Horace E. Scudder [manuscript], 1891-1895.

Consists of two leaves (20 x 13 cm to 21 x 17 cm) mounted on a bifolium and labeled by Edwin C. Jellett. (1), dated 19 January 1891 from Cambridge Mass.; Scudder writes that he may not be unrepresented in Rose Markens' autograph collection. (2) Scudder describes the different levels on which one appreciates Shakespeare, starting in childhood. Item is signed and dated "Boston: 3 December 1895."
