Collection consists primarily of correspondence between various members of the Sedgwick, Dwight, and Minot families, n.d., 1823-1908, including among others, letters sent from Jane Minot Sedgwick to Julia, Louisa Davis, Mary, and William Minot (1783-1873); and letters sent by Theodore (1811-1859) and Henry D. Sedgwick (1785-1831) to various family members. Also includes a typescript of a letter sent by Theodore Sedgwick (1746-1813), 1776; poetry about various Sedgwick family members by an unknown author; two sketchbooks kept by Louisa Davis Minot, ca. 1828; and Sedgwick family genealogical information, including a manuscript by William Minot (1817-1894).
