This collection consists of correspondence, legislative bills, and newspaper clippings, all relating to Roy F. Schulz and his twenty-year career (1951-1971) in the Minnesota House of Representatives. Also included in the collection are newspaper columns he wrote and several topical files relating to legislative issues. The main issues discussed in the topical files are state aid for both private and public schools, highway and motor vehicle safety issues, the proposal for a Minnesota wetlands bill, and the attempt to have Mankato State College upgraded to university status. Personal items such as photographs and campaign materials are also included.
