David Morrison Scotia and Scotia Review Collection, 1970-1975.

Consists of correspondence, manuscripts, and photographs chiefly relating to Morrison's tenure as editor of Scotia from 1970-72 and as editor of Scotia Review during the years 1972-1975. Series 1, Correspondence, consists entirely of correspondence to David Morrison (1971-1975) and is arranged alphabetically by correspondent. Series 2, Manuscripts, consists of poetical and prose manuscripts arranged alphabetically by author. Series 3, Photographs, consists of black and white photographs arranged alphabetically by subject, many of which depict Morrison or contemporary Scottish writers ca. 1970-1975.

C. M. (Christopher Murray) Grieve [Hugh McDiarmid, 1892-1978] was a Scottish poet, writer, and cultural activist. Politically, he was both a nationalist, helping found the National Party of Scotland in 1928, and a communist. During the 1930's, he was expelled from each group for his membership in the other.
