Louis Rinaldo Ehrich received his B.A. from Yale in 1869. He was a member of the dry goods firm of Ehrich Brothers in New York City from 1870-1886. Between 1889-1905, Ehrich served as vice-president of the Colorado Springs and Manitou Street Railway Company, the Manitou Mineral Water Company, and the Colorado City Land and Improvement Company.
