Autograph letter signed from H.J. Montague, Wallack's Theatre, to William Winter [manuscript], 19th century Saturday.

Montague confirms that one of Winter's correspondents is correct: he played a part after Mr. Young left the theater. Possibly a reference to Montague's taking over the role of George D'Alroy from Frederick Younge.
