The Lucy Skidmore Scribner Collection contains publications, diaries, account books, scrapbooks, correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, and objects that were created or collected by Lucy Scribner (1853-1931). In addition, the collection contains correspondence and newspaper clippings about Lucy Scribner created or collected by her contemporaries after her death. Of note is a diary maintained by Anna C. Peterson, Ms. Scribner's maid and companion, detailing the two womens' 1910 European vacation.
