Alice Jones collection, 1904-ca. 1910.

This collection consists of memorabilia, publications, and photographs that probably belonged to Alice Jones. The photographs include about 36 hand-painted prints (most in a small album). Notable subjects include views of the Willamette River in Corvallis and Portland; Oregon woods; Vancouver Lake; Mount Rainier; the beach, canoeing on the Yaquina River; a creek near Estacada; sailboats; a mill wheel; and several identified individuals including Alice Jones, Bess Yates, Marian Jones, Mary Jones, Will Jones, and the Flett boys. The publications include the June 1904 and June 1905 issues of the "College Barometer". The collection also includes a printed photograph of the 1904 OAC football team annotated with players' names.

Alumna Alice Jones graduated from Oregon Agricultural College in 1905 with a degree in Household Science. She was from Corvallis, Oregon, and attended OAC for four academic years (1901/02 - 1904/05). She was a member of the Feronian Literary Society, Associate Editor of the June 1905 souvenir edition of the "College Barometer", and salutatorian of the Class of 1905.
