Department of Missionary Education Collection, 1928-1985.

The collection includes articles, biographical information, clippings, correspondence, minutes, reports, and sermons. There are two series that follow the tenure of Lewis W. Martin and Kenneth Day as director of the Debarment. Additionally, there are files from Ernestine Adams and Ella Keller, who were both secretaries to Mr. Day. Most of the materials are about schools of missions later called world missions conferences. Other topics include Hawaiian missions and mountain missions. Correspondence in the collection is mainly from missionaries participating in the schools of missions.
