Autograph letter signed from Mary Russell Mitford, Three Mile Cross, to Miss James, Richmond [manuscript], 1825 Sunday.

Mitford states that she has "always thought highly, most highly of [James'] power in education." Mentions Charles Kemble's protracted absence on the continent; says it is pleasant to find a manager taking a play just as a bookseller would take a longer work upon the faith of the author's name. Agrees with Miss James' admiration of Milton. Signed M.R. Mitford. Year based on postmark.
