A reply to Pierce's letter calling attention to a composition error on p. 499 of Jaggard's Shakespeare bibliography, written on Shakespeare Press stationary. Jaggard apologizes for the delay in responding: "your question could not be answered off-hand, but required a journey to two different libraries...Theobald's Shakespeare 1733 1st ed. rightly possesses no plates save the portrait."
