The Ecumenical Coalition of the Mahoning Valley was a multi-faith group of religious leaders, who united in response to the Campbell Works steel mill closure during September 1977. After the Coalition's proposal to reopen the Campbell Works was unable to acquire the necessary financial resources, the Coalition discontinued further action in April 1979.
