Lawrence Darlington letter of condolence, 1931.

Lawrence Darlington was born about 1909 in Washington State , son of Fred and Mary Darlington. The family moved to Missoula, Montana, about 1915. Lawrence was a lumber millworker and then a Forest Service employee at the Powell Ranger Station on the Lolo National Forest. He died in a work accident on June 18, 1931. Collection consists of a letter of condolence (1931) from Regional Forester Evan W. Kelley to Lawrence's parents.
