Neal, former wife of Wisconsin Business University (La Crosse) director Leigh Toland, describes her ancestry and her life in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She discusses her education at Oberlin College in Iowa and her move back to La Crosse, where she married Toland, had a family, and became involved in women's society functions and music clubs. Neal's daughter Patricia (Toland) McEldowney also discusses life with her father.
