Salado College letters, 1869.

This collection contains two items addressed to the president and board of trustees of Salado College regarding water use. The item dated October 5, 1869 is a petition from the residents of Salado, Texas who do not think the dam erected by W.A. Davis on the college's land is legal, and asks that the college abide by the original land restrictions. The second item in the collection is a letter from W.A. Davis defending his dam, and is dated December 14, 1869.
