Collection of letters written by various Massachusetts authors related to literary pursuits and the publication of books and articles, 1844-1906. Includes letters written by Charles Francis Adams, M.F. Browne, Francis Jackson Garrison, J.S. Dwight, William Everett, George Fogg, Albert Alonzo Folsom, Henry Morgan, Richard Parker, Theophilus Parsons, Walter Shanly, and [Sohier] Welch; and received by Robert Adams, Alice Baker, A.R. Brewer, H.L. Bridgman, William Capen, T.W. Carter, Anna Dresel, Thomas T. Eckert, and B.P. Shillaber. The various letters were originally found among the records of the Book Arts Press at the University of Virginia.
