Mostly a compilation of typescripts of documents compiled by Edward Partridge (1833-1900) concerning the life of his father, Edward Partridge (1793-1840), focusing on his conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), experiences as a Bishop, and persecution in Independence, Missouri. Includes excerpts from the elder Partridge's 1818 journal, 1835 journal of ministries, and correspondence. Also includes excerts from the journals of Lydia Partridge and her correspondence, and typescripts of letters and statements from Joseph Smith.
