Letters from Frank E. Hodgkins to Col. Frederick Harris (1892 May 12-26), regarding the fire at Kennebunk Beach, Me., and subsequent purchase of neighboring lot by Harris; correspondence (1892 July-Nov.) between William Barry, Frederick Harris, and several contractors, regarding quotes to rebuild the Harris cottage which had been destroyed by fire; and envelope addressed to Col. F. H. Harris, president of the American Insurance Company, postmarked Kennebunk Beach, 1892. Col. Frederick H. Harris was a resident of Montclair, N.J., who purchased a home at Kennebunk Beach in 1888.
