The vocabulary list was recorded by Abraham Waters while sailing with Capt. Robert Gray, of Boston, Mass. on the Columbia River in British Columbia and Oregon; and transcribed by Elbridge G. Howe in Paxton, Mass., 1828. Locations of original vocabulary list and transcription are unknown.
