Ward family commissions, 1807-1819.

Collection consists of military commissions promoting Nahum Ward of Phillipston, Mass. to Ensign (May 5, 1807), and Captain (July 14, 1810), of the 5th Regiment of Infantry, Second Brigade, Seventh Division, of the Massachusetts Militia; and a commission authorizing Ithamar Ward, of Phillipston, Mass., to serve as a Justice of the Peace in Worcester County, June 10, 1819.
