This notarized legal mortgage document conveys lots on Yerba Buena and Sacramento Streets in the city of San Francisco (From Sections 24 and 26, Lots 652,651,629, and 630) owned by Joseph Kendall, Lucy F. Kendall, and Mary Ann Miller (wife of Albert Miller) to Harry East and Albert Miller. On page 2 of the deed is a notary public addendum signed and impression sealed by notary public Lewis B. Sloat in the County of San Francisco for the signees appearing before him on January 30, Feb. 1, and Feb. 2, 1855. The deed was recorded into Liber 23 of Mortgages, page 564 by the County Recoder.
