Three manuscript account books for the Methodist Protestant Church of McConnellsville, Ohio. Ledger of church expenses, 1881-1931, includes accounts for building a parsonage and Sunday School room in the basement of the church. Loose documents found in the expense ledger include receipts, 1909 rally day program, obituary for Rev. D.G. Jackson, accounts with trustee, C.F. Siler for church repair and Sunday School room painting, and a contract for renting the church basement to Ernest L. Fonts. Ladies Aid Society cash account book records receipts and expenses from 1926-1940 and membership attendence 1928-1932. The third journal records the cemetery account and cemetery bond accounts 1924-1935.
