Oral history interview with Janel Bladow [sound recording] / interviewed by Edwin L. Hill. 1970 Feb. 5.

Bladow discusses her experience as editor of the Wisconsin State University-La Crosse student newspaper the Racquet in 1969, when her decision to print a controversial article resulted in the placement of the Racquet under University administration. She refers to University President Samuel G. Gates, censorship, the United States Student Press Association, and the Board of Regents of Wisconsin Universities.
