Sixty-six typewritten manuscripts by Frank Freeman intended as chapters for an unpublished book. Much of the material pertains to Colorado and includes subjects such as folklore, biographies of pioneers, criminals and famous characters, and general history. Of interest to Arizona researchers are manuscripts on Doc Holliday, Johnny Ringo, Pearl Hart, Russian Bill, and the El Tejano legend.
