Alsop and Hicks letters, 1793.

This collection contains letters from Savannah, Georgia businessmen to Alsop and Hicks, New York, New York merchants. Two letters concerning the mercantile business are from William Lamb, and Robert Bolton, both dated August 31, 1793. A letter from Samuel Wall, dated December 15, 1794, concerns Live Oak timber. The fourth letter, from Henry Deaves, is dated January 10, 1801, and discusses shipping rice and upland cotton and mentions shipping to Ireland.
