Bonnie Bird discusses her life and career as a dancer and dance teacher in the United States and England. Includes discussion of her work in modern dance and collaborations with Martha Graham (Bird was an original member of Graham's company), John Cage, and others. Some interview sessions include Shirley Winn, Anthony Bowne, and Marion North. She and North discuss the Laban Centre for Movement and Dance where Bird was Director of the Dance Theatre Dept.
