Gunnar W.E. Nicholson papers, 1945-1978.

This collection consists of photocopies of professional papers and presentations by Gunnar W.E. Nicholson. They were originally arranged in a notebook entitled, "Papers Relating to History of the Development of the Paper Industry in the South," which was compiled by Nicholson and sent to various colleagues following his retirement. The photocopied papers are professional addresses and presentations made during Nicholson's career, primarily in the 1940s through 1960s. Also included is a photograph of Nicholson taken in 1945. The folder containing the photograph is noted as "VM" (visual materials) in the collection inventory.

Born in Sweden, Gunnar W. E. Nicholson (1893-1988) was the manager and corporation director of various pulp and paper mills. He was involved in pulp and paper mill operations in Georgia 1941-1956.
