Scarborough, returning from the 4th Baptist World Congress in Toronto (June 23-29, 1928), wrote Mullins, former president of the Baptist World Alliance, who was seriously ill concerning the meeting. He told Mullins that his paper [read by George W. Truett, who presided] was "probably the best Baptist paper ever read to a Baptist assembly."
