Autograph manuscript preface signed by A.T. Quiller-Couch. The one page dedication is addressed to Algernon Charles Swinburne. Both are undated. With one autograph letter signed from Quiller-Couch to Mr. Buxton Forman (bifolium). The letter (bifolium) is dated April 4, 1900 and addressed from The Haven, Fowey. Quiller-Couch writes that he is sending the dedication and preface as an apology to Forman. He also asks if Forman has any lyrics of Charles Wells.
