Writes about a performance of Romeo and Juliet she gave at the Gaiety Theatre under the name "Miss Fanny Lumsden." She thanks the recipient for his judicious criticism and words of encouragement. She has been playing Juliet to Kyrle Bellew's Romeo for five months. Reid mentions an upcoming performance as Juliet to Mr. Forbes Robertson's Romeo. Addressed from Bedford Hotel, Covent Garden. Letter is addressed "Dear Sir" and dated July 23.
