Cameron letters, 1908-1912.

Small collection of correspondence concerning Arizona's bid for statehood, addressed to Ralph Cameron, dated 1908 to 1912. A letter from Ira W. Bond, in the Senate, urges Cameron to write to Roosevelt about the statehood bill, and describes the Washington politics surrounding Arizona's statehood. A carbon of Cameron's letter to Roosevelt is present, and Roosevelt's reply. Roosevelt states he hopes to sign the statehood bill. Two letters from William H. Taftthanking Cameron for his congratulations are also present.
