Typed letter signed from Knight Dunlap to "My Dear Slemons" (J. Morris Slemons), 17 January 1901, with annotations and corrections by hand. Typed on letterhead of the Psychological Laboratory, The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland. Apparently at the recipient's request, Dunlap critiques Slemon's manuscript (not included) on infant development.

Knight Dunlap was born on November 21, 1875 in Diamond Spring California. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California at Berkeley. After a year of graduate school, he transferred to Harvard where he received his Masters and doctorate degree. Dunlap then returned to Berkeley as an instructor. In 1906, Dunlap joined George M.
