Mark Anthony (1843-1864) was born in 1843, in Missouri. He enlisted as a 2nd Lieutenant in Company I of the 6th Regiment Missouri Volunteer Infantry, which was part of the 1st Brigade, 2nd Division, 15th Army Corps of the Union Army of Tennessee. The 6th Regiment Missouri Volunteer Infantry was organized in St. Louis, Missouri on June 1, 1861. It participated in the Battle of Vicksburg and the Battle of Resaca and then joined General Sherman for the Siege of Atlanta and the March to the Sea. He ...
