Letter to Pratt at Union, S.C., from T.I. Hughes in Louisville, Miss.; Hughes acknowledges receipt of Pratt's last letter, quotes price of land in question as three dollars an acre, requests that Pratt secure a local agent to act on Mrs. Gage's behalf in South Carolina and reports that "the worm is eating up all of our Cotton."
