Notarized deed document conveying 52 statute acres in the Rancho Soscal area owned by Josiah Gordon to William F. Peabody of Benicia, Cal. The deed describes the block numbers in the Town of Vallejo and other descriptive markers by a plan in 1851 by Edmond B, Kellogg and Edward H. Rose. Affixed to page 2 of the deed is a notary public statement signed and impression stamped by H.A. Cobb in the County of San Francisco on July [16?], 1857. The deed, signed by Josiah Gordon, was recorded into the Solano County Book L of Deeds, pages 308-309, by Wiliam J. Hooton, County Recorder, on Nov. 14,1857.
