A collection of pencil drawings by Ted Kennedy showing various pitching forms, pitching machine. Also included are his baseball lessons and his glove pattern with ordering instructions. There is advertisement for his Correspondence baseball school, fliers, brochures on his mitts and gloves. There are full-length photos of Kennedy showing pitching forms and photos of his hand holding the ball. There is an article telling of Kennedy's career as a player and one giving instructions to pitchers.

Ted Kennedy was born in Henry County Illinois on February 7, 1865. Ted learned the carpenter's trade from his father, but he soon shared the passion for baseball prevalent in Peoria. It had one of the country's top independent teams. The thirteen-year-old Kennedy served as bat boy and water boy for the team and Kennedy later remembered Radbourn as being one of the first to master the overhand curve ball.
