Gustavus Swan's letters of Dec. 15 and 17, 1832 to Thomas Ewing in Washington, D.C. report Ohio election results, particularly the election of Reuben Wood to the Supreme Court. Swan comments on President Jackson's proclamation against the nullification ordinance of South Carolina, December 11, 1832 and the end of nullification.
