Autograph letter signed : the Cottage (late Mr Barbers), Grasmere, Ambleside, Westmorland, to his wife Harriet Geddes Collins, 1832 Sept. 22.

Concerning plans to return to his "darling wife." Discussing the kindness of his hosts, the Parrys, a trip to Westmoreland with Sir George Beaumont "fourteen years ago," and an invitation to spend two or three days with the Wordsworths. Instructing his sons to "do whatever their Mamma wishes."
