Calvin Delos McOmber papers, 1924-1993.

The collection contain family correspondence, information regarding McOmber's mission to Czechoslovakia, published books in Czech, journals, photographs, papers regarding his work in the temple, papers regarding his work in the seminary and institute programs, a reel of mission photographs, legal documents, and ephemera. The ephemera includes postcards, cards, information about their dairy, funeral programs, and election items. There is also some family history relating to David Stout, Daisie Stout Richardson, and Achsah Stout.

Calvin Delos McOmber, Jr., was born April 11, 1910. He served a mission to Czechoslovakia from 1934 to 1937. In 1940, he graduated from the University of Utah. He later served in the institute and seminary programs in Idaho. He also served in a stake presidency, and as a stake patriarch. He served in the Idaho Falls temple presidency in 1975.
