Jochelson Aleutian photograph reference collection, 1909-1910.

The Jochelson Aleutian Photograph Reference Collection consists of black-and-white photographs of 157 pages from five of Waldemar Jochelson's Aleutian albums. On the 157 pages are 954 images, which include portraits of individuals, views of Aleut activities and technology, and scenes of Aleutian villages and landscapes. No identifying information is included with the photographs. The collection also includes microfilm copies of the album pages.
