Correspondence and legal briefs relating to legal cases; files documenting Figg's prosecutorial work as solicitor and bills written on behalf of the Charleston County legislative delegation, including legislation to authorize the creation of the South Carolina State Ports Authority in 1942. Also including files concerning his involvement as legal representative for the Clarendon County School Board in the 1949 Briggs v. Elliott school desegregation case, including photographs of schools for African Americans used in the case (Box 8 : Folder 205A); and materials relating to his administrative and teaching duties with the University of South Carolina School of Law.
