Letter refers to French manuscripts and a bookseller who has a Shakespeare folio to dispose of. Leaf 2 consists of a contractual agreement, also dated July 31, 1812, made by Ireland for Parry to receive the payments for the French manuscripts of "Anecdotes of Bonaparte & his leading generals" on Ireland's behalf, the first half to be paid immediately.
