Letters, chiefly on letterhead of either Shakespeariana or Poet-Lore, concern Fleay's studies and articles on Shakespeare, Shelley, and children's companies. In (8), Porter refers to her resignation from Shakespeariana and asks that he be "kind enough to let [her] know how [he] would feel disposed towards the plan of Poet-Lore."
