Autograph letter signed from Tho. B. MacDonough to William Winter [manuscript], 1876 June 27.

MacDonough describes his visit to Shakespeare's birth place, accompanying his and Winter's mutual friend Jefferson (probably Joseph Jefferson) and family, on a tour to the shrine of Shakespeare. He writes that the village curate of Stratford gave William Winter Jefferson Christian rites.
