Madrigals with music (cantus, altus, and tenor) added to the blank pages of a copy of Madrigals to four voices ..., by John Bennet, 1599 (STC 1882). Manuscript music copied by Baron Conyers D'Arcy. Pieces are incomplete, wanting other parts. First lines: Vaults graves and toombs, (A3); Come lovers forthe, and help me to admire, attributed to Mr [Michael?] East (B2); The silver swan who livinge had no note, attributed to Mr. East, (C2); Venus by Adonis side, attributed to [Robert Parsons], (C3). Also, on the flyleaf of the cantus part only, two additional songs, Well soudinge pipes well tuned strings, attributed to Mr. [Simon] Ive, and On me poore man, attributed to Mr [William] Byrd.

Both originally composed for keyboard (harpsichord or virginal). The Pavane composed ca. 1612 and published as no. 6 in the collection Parthenia. The Gigg published as A Giff F. Tr[egian], no. 180 in the Fitzwilliam Virginal Book compiled probably after 1621.
