Walter Gresham's materials include Civil War letters and speeches to and about veterans; correspondence concerning his runs for the presidential nomination and support for Grover Cleveland; legal correspondence as district judge; diplomatic papers including his views on imperialism, the Nicaraguan Canal, and the annexation of Hawaii; personal letters and financial materials; and condolence letters, obituaries, and records dealing with his estate. Also included are political scrapbooks kept by Michael C. Kerr. Otto Gresham's papers include political, legal, and personal correspondence. Topics include Cuban autonomy, Howard Taft's presidential bid, the League of Nations, railroad company lawsuits, and his father's biography.
