Dudley S. Blossom was a wealthy Cleveland, Ohio, businessman and philanthropist who served as city welfare director, 1919-1921 and 1924-1932. He graduated from Yale University in 1901 and became a partner in the Cleveland firm of William Bingham and Company. He was also an officer or director of other businesses, including Perry-Payne Corporation, the Payne-Bingham Company, the Standard Tool Company, the Cleveland Hobbing Machine Company, the Blossom Lock Company, and the Central National Bank. ...
