Kenyon Castle Bolton was a Cleveland, Ohio businessman and philanthropist and son of Chester and Frances Payne Bolton. He served in the military, beginning in 1936 as a member of the 107th Cavalry of the Ohio National Guard. He entered active service in 1940, served during World War II and attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
