Memoranda book owned by James Stewart [manuscript], 1812-1880.

Binding by William F. Gray at the New Book Store, Fredericksburg, Va., has a flap front cover and two pockets for loose papers. The volume contains miscellaneous accounts of [James Stewart and James W. Stewart?] There are a few accounts and a recipe for stain removal from the 1820s. Most of the entries are from 1867-1880, and include notes on farming, labor payments, store accounts, blacksmith accounts, and the draft of a letter on paying a Baptist minister for a funeral sermon.
