These documents mainly fall in a later time period than the first series. They relate to the organizational and housekeeping operations of the legislature, the building of what is now the Old State House in 1796, the revision and publication of laws and statutes, the election of executive officers and assistants, the appointment of judicial and other civil officers, the adoption of the Connecticut Constitution of 1818, questions of individual citizenship decided by the Assembly, the actions that Connecticut took regarding ratification of amendments to the U.S. Constitution, etc. The arrangement is topical.
